YouTube’s new commenting system integrates with Google+ and may be a welcomed change for some, but the ability to comment privately to only your circles or to individuals feels like it could start fragmenting communities that rely on public comments. However, YouTube’s new commenting system also includes moderation controls, which will be a welcomed addition for anyone who’s had to deal with negative comments and trolls.
