This is an issue I’ve struggled with too and the key thing I continue to remind myself about, is that it’s not so much about what you say, but rather HOW you say it.

Here are some ideas:
1. Make yourself come up with 5 different ways of saying the same thing. You’ll be surprised at how you can take one idea or concept and say it SO many different ways.
2. Use unique experiences and real life stories from YOUR life… because no one else could possibly have lead the same life you have lead.
3. When it’s time to write, don’t pay attention to anyone else but yourself. When you are always checking other people’s stuff out, it’s going to bleed into your own writing.
4. When you’re writing copy, making a video, etc. ask yourself – would I say this to my best friend? If you wouldn’t, erase it and start over.
