Last week YouTube updated the commenting system to integrate with Google+, which is either awesome or terrible, depending on who you are. Now anyone who wants to comment on YouTube must also have a Google+ account connected to their YouTube channel whether they like it or not.
If you’re not familiar with Google+, navigating the new comment system can be quite confusing. In this video, I’ll walk you through the YouTube/Google+ commenting system and help you understand how it works, why YouTube made some of the changes that they made, and how to start engaging in comments again.
On Video Creators we discuss how to leverage YouTube as a social platform and use it to build an audience, spread our message, and change lives. If you’re a YouTuber or an online video creator, we’d love to have you subscribe and join us!
