Globalisation: Barriers to International Selling

Throughout the early part of this century, globalisation has been a major topic Anne has occupied a lot of thinking amongst the business community and governments alike. There are barriers to globalisation in the form of restrictions on trade and blockages on particular products going to some countries. Many of these blockages are related to political issues and are therefore outside of consideration for us.
Businesses recognise the opportunities that international selling can give them by extending their markets however there are costs in terms of information and in terms of getting a foothold in those markets. This video considers some of these issues.
