Companies must teach their staff the technology that they employ and the routines of the business. It is also important that the staff engage with other companies, perhaps suppliers, and also represent the company to the outside world. For these and other reasons it is important that the staff are trained and that the trainers are familiar with appropriate learning styles and learning theories.
