Hi, I’m Alexa and this is a Marketing Minute on content.

This year, AE Marketing Group was named among the Top 100 Content Marketers by Express Writers and BuzzSumo.

To celebrate, we wanted to share our top marketing secrets with you. For social, it’s important that content is kept short, sweet, and to the point to keep your readers’ attention. But, it’s also important that you teach them something new or give them a new perspective on an interesting subject. It’s also important to define and stick to your content pillars. Your content pillars are your subjects or topics that your brand focuses on and that defines what you post and repost. That way, when your customers or non-customers go onto your pages, everything makes sense and everything has a purpose.

Lastly, it’s really important to have personality and humor in your social posts – no one wants to read robotic sounding posts so the more personality you have, the better you can connect with your audience.
